Winterreise

For me Schubert's Winterreise, the icom of the classical vocal
repertoire, is a songbook that in some ways can be compared withthe American songbook. It was a challenge to give the performance a strong personal signature without the use of improvisation and still respecting Schubert's work at the same time. I think that this approach has been effective and Nora and I have even made the repertoire more accesible.
