Another very special addition to our highly successful series of CDs with the unique and world famous Netherlands Chamber Choir conducted by Uwe Gronostay! These are the seven beautiful and intensely moving Motets for mixed a cappella chorus by Bruckner, to which were added the Geistliche Gesänge, Op. 138 by Max Reger, the composer's last great a cappella choir composition. Bruckner wrote his Motets for church performance, some of them for the Augustinian monastery in St. Florian with which he had such special connections during the whole of his life. In the booklet are the texts oft he Bruckner Motets and of Reger's Geistliche Gesänge, with translations in to German, English and French.
