The music on this hypnotically beautiful disc includes two commissioned works from duoJalal’s “Rumi Experience” project, and comprises music from Japan, Indonesia, Mongolia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. duoJalal has selected a Rumi poem to pair with each piece of music, with the poems (in English translation) printed in the CD liner notes.
