- For more than 40 year Camerata Trajectina is the foremost advocate of Dutch music from the Middle Ages up through the Golden Age.
- 2017 is Luther Year: it has been 500 years since Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg. All around the globe                       exhibitions, festivals and concerts will be celebrating this anniversary.
- Camerata Trajectina will premiere this very program during the prestigious Utrecht Early Music Festival 2017 and will perform the program many times in the Netherlands and abroad.

 
The title of this album comes from the first song Luther wrote. In this recording Camerata Trajectina highlights Lutheran melodies in the Low Countries in the 16th century. In this way the ensemble commemorates the 500th anniversary in 2017 (on October 31) of the day when Luther publicly posted his 95 Theses in Wittenberg, which sparked the Protestant Reformation.
