DANIEL HEIDE , worldwide rather known as a chamber musician and highly regarded partner for singers for Lied recitals is one of the most demanded German pianist, also because of his deeply sounded musicality.
He discovered singers like Konstantin Krimmel, Andrè Schuen and also the soprano Katharina Konradi; hjis recordings with them were regared as high acclaimed CD premieres.
NOW – as a result of his open time agendy during the pandemic he rediscovered his old love to the Beethoven sonanats , when he studied at the Franz-Liszt-Hochschule Weimar and remembered his earlier times when the sonatas were played on vinyl at his home. He now used the time of isolation to refresh and learn the sonatas from scratch and the result is now out – Vol. III.

Although I started out mainly as a chamber musician collaborating with instrumentalists and singers, the focus has increasingly shifted toward duo recitals, primarily vocal recitals on a worldwide scale – but I never could have dreamed that such appearances would become so frequent that they would allow me to earn a stable living.
Whenever I was asked what became of my solo playing, I had to answer with a shrug, explaining that I needed a sort of sabbatical to let me practice solo repertoire undisturbed before I started giving solo piano recitals again. Then, covid struck. All of a sudden, I had time on my hands. .…...(Excerpt from the Booklet nores by Daniel Heide)
